Position
Title: Senior Director, Sales Enablement
Location: Home / Remote North Carolina
The Senior Director, Sales Enablement will develop and execute our companywide sales enablement strategy, working cross-functionally to create structures, processes, and programs to improve the efficiency and performance of our global sales organization.
What you will do
- Develop and implement Riverbed's global sales enablement strategy, creating programs that align with company goals and drive sales performance.
- Lead the sales enablement function, providing coaching, mentorship, and strategic direction to 10 - 12 enablement professionals.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to create and prioritize initiatives that address gaps in sales performance.
- Oversee the creation and delivery of sales training programs tailored to meet the needs of our sellers, sales engineers, partners, and the overall sales organization.
- Manage sales enablement tools (e.g., Highspot, etc.) to drive productivity and efficiency.
- Continuously measure and optimize the effectiveness of training programs, using qualitative and quantitative data.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven insights to measure the impact of sales enablement initiatives and programs on sales productivity and revenue growth.
- Align with marketing and product teams to develop relevant collateral - playbooks, case studies, presentations, competitive analysis, etc. - in support of sales efforts.
- Manage and coordinate sales kickoff and similar events.
This position is not based in any specific Company office or geographical location in the United States. As such, the Company is considering applicants who reside anywhere in the United States. The general salary range for this position in the United States is $225,000 to $250,000. An individual's particular compensation will be determined by the Company, in its sole discretion, in light of the individual's geographical location, education, training, and/or experience.
What makes you an ideal candidate
- Multiple years' experience (10+ preferred) in sales enablement or revenue enablement, along with multiple years (5+ preferred) in a leadership capacity.
- Experience leading and scaling the sales enablement function in a multinational company.
- Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce) and sales enablement (Highspot, etc.) tools.
- Experience working in a global, cross-functional, matrixed environment, able to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Data-driven mindset, adept at leveraging insights to drive change and performance.
- Strong operational excellence, able to optimize processes, tools, and strategy to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
