ChristianaCare is seeking a BC/BE Non-Invasive Clinical Cardiologist to join our Center for Heart & Vascular Health.
Join our team at The Center for Heart and Vascular Health at ChristianaCare, consisting of 25 cardiologists and 16 advanced practice clinicians, in providing the highest-level care and treatments for cardiovascular diseases in the inpatient (Christiana Hospital, Wilmington Hospital and Union Hospital) and ambulatory settings. Our cardiologists participate in the full range of imaging studies both in our hospitals and in our outpatient diagnostic center. They will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our primary care partners in the development of population health-based initiatives.
Position Highlights:
- Progressive, innovative care in a busy clinical practice. The Center for Heart and Vascular Health at Christiana Hospital saw 1,800 chest pain admissions and performs over 3,000 cardiac catheterizations, 1,400 PCIs, 1,600 EP procedures and 880 cardiac surgical procedures annually. The Center also provides advanced heart failure services including placement and management of left-ventricular assist devices.
- Opportunities to participate in teaching of Cardiology Fellows and house staff and engagement in clinical research. ChristianaCare is affiliated with the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. In addition, the Center partners with the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) for cardiac transplantation and transplant medicine services.
- Collaborate with other members of the section of Cardiology that also includes diverse community-based practices.
Requirements:
- BE/BC in cardiology
- Must have the ability to be licensed in the State of Delaware and meet credentialing requirements.
