JOB TITLE: General Manager (GM)
DEPARTMENT: Non-Medical
RESPONSIBLE TO: Chief Operating Officer
BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION: General Manager will ensure the execution of smooth and efficient operational procedures within all departments, enabling Next Health to provide the highest level of customer service and achieve financial success.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: BA in Business Administration, Business Operation, Business Organizational Leadership, Finance, or similar is preferred. Minimum 3 years of management experience. Minimum 1 year in the healthcare/wellness industry preferred.
EMPLOYEES SUPERVISED: Oversight to all employees in the facility, including but not limited to: Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Assistant General Manager, Sr. Health Hacker, Health Hacker.

- Familiarity with medical terminology, excellent customer service, and clerical experience.

STANDARD JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The General Manager oversees and manages the financial health of the location.
- The General Manager identifies as proactive and a self-starter and is capable of providing worry transfer to the Executive Team.
- The General Manager assists by coordinating, facilitating, and executing a strong relationship with the Human Resources Department regarding all employee relations. This role is also responsible for the oversight and management of all compliance, policies, and procedures.
- The General Manager will ensure the execution of smooth and efficient operational procedures within all departments through excellent leadership, enabling the Next Health facility to provide the highest level of customer service.
- Alignment with Next Health core values and mission. Assures adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy at all times.
- Provides worry transfer. Executes the daily huddle to set the tone and expectations for the day. Supervises all staff within the facility, including medical & non-medical, while facilitating all delegated projects and responsibilities, along with staff training.
- Manages and implements Next Health labor policies, procedures, and guidelines; that include meal and rest breaks, efficient flow of the space, FOH to BOH procedures, and safety regulations.
- Manages multiple aspects of inventory control & datasheets, payroll budget, weekly bank deposits, shift coverage, and general facility maintenance.
- Educates staff on proper company policies and procedures.
- Works closely with AGM to provide full operational coverage through effective scheduling practices.
- Works closely with the Human Resource Department - Stays up to date on legal compliance & safety regulations and evolving safety measures.
- Provides location-specific, self-generated business in partnership with the sales and marketing division.
- Responsible for the active development of team members and the execution of consistent employee reviews & all required performance evaluations.
- Holds self and others to the highest level of professionalism in line with Next Health standards. Facilitates community outreach and engagement.
- Facilitates continued education for self and other employees.
- Employee conveys knowledge to all staff regarding general safety procedures and properly responds to emergency situations including fire, disaster, and clinical emergencies.
- Takes personal responsibility to ensure a positive customer-centric environment and all customer issues are resolved expeditiously.
- Oversees presentation and maintenance of the facility to ensure everything is aesthetically pleasing, and in proper working order, and all maintenance issues are resolved expeditiously.
- GM interfaces with HR to facilitate hiring & recruiting.
- Holds all staff members accountable for their responsibilities and provides positive affirmations, performance coaching, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
