As a Senior Software Engineer on Microsoft's AI Innovation team, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative AI solutions that drive productivity for users. We are looking for someone who is very hands-on, self-driven, who can figure out new technologies and can build out initial investigations and proof-of-concepts and then take the learnings to product teams across the company.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:
- Work as part of a results-oriented, data-driven team that embraces experimentation
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers and partner teams to deliver a set of features
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Design counterparts to design and implement new features from 0 -> 1.

Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, Java, TypeScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2 + years experience in cloud technologies and platforms
- Experience with front-end User Experience (UX) engineering
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, Java, TypeScript, or Python, React
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, Java, TypeScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Start-up and/or innovation lab experience (new product inception, exploration, and incubation)
- Application Programming Interfaces Frameworks
- Full stack/backend experience
- Demonstrated ability to define and deliver apps and platforms from concept to Open-Source and/or production (or successful hand offs to production teams)
- Experience with, including but not limited to TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, Azure services
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
