The Principal Solution Architecture will lead as a ServiceNow module steward. As the ServiceNow module steward, you will be responsible for understanding the assigned module, its data structures, how it is designed to be used, and how it interacts with other ServiceNow modules. The Principal Solution Architecture will work closely with the architecture and CMDB teams on the rollout or ongoing support of ServiceNow modules across AT&T’s ServiceNow ecosystem.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify major cases throughout for where the supported ServiceNow module could be used by defining should or should not use case and assemble internal experts to represent case.
- Collaborate with a team to define and document a baseline process for how the ServiceNow module will be used.
- Establish and document how tenants can use (configure, develop, etc.) the module with their projects.
- Approve requests to modify from out of the box.
- Contribute in ServiceNow Front Door process by working with tenants and prospective tenants to determine right fit and assist with solution of new use cases.
- Identify and operationalize what needs to be done for the module by identifying development/support team and staffing requirements.
- Adhere to Stewardship Principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work directly with scrum teams and other architects.
- Serve as a technical liaison between business clients and the IT department, ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Experience troubleshooting, root cause identification, and delivering solutions for platform issues.
- Experience building and managing ServiceNow IT solutions which include integrating multiple ServiceNow technologies.
- Experience in the design and implementation of ServiceNow architecture, supporting software engineering and maximizing data processing.
- Providing advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes, and performing root cause analysis.
- Experience supporting ServiceNow Customer Service with other supporting architectures and platforms.
Required Experience:
8 - 10 years’ experience. Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role.
Desired Education:
Master's of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; or equivalent experience preferred.
Desired Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
- ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
Our Principal Solution Architecture earn between $141,300 - $237,400 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
