Position Overview:

Job Responsibilities:
- Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics
- Procedures:
- EGD and Colonoscopies
- ERCPs
- EUS
- PEG
- Variceal banding
- Higher acuity cases
- Facility Type: GI-specific units, including a standalone GI center for healthy patients and an in-hospital unit for more complex cases.
Certification and Licensing Requirements:
- Board Certification: NBCRNA required
- State Licenses: Active Virginia license required, but willing to consider candidates who need to obtain a Virginia license
- Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Years of Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience
- Charting Experience: Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Flu Vaccine: Required, with no exemptions
- Coverage Area: GI is a growing specialty in the area, and the facility is looking for a provider committed to exclusively covering GI cases.
- Types of Cases: This role involves both routine GI procedures in a standalone center and higher acuity cases within a hospital setting.
