This Medical Director/Psychiatrist position with Life Strategies is a hybrid role involving a combination of leadership and patient care responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to continue providing psychiatric care in a direct, hands-on capacity while gaining valuable experience supervising others and managing operations across multiple Life Strategies locations.
We are seeking a medical director-psychiatrist for full-time positions in Jonesboro, AR but we will consider applicants who could work out of other centers in the greater Northeast Arkansas area.
Compensation:
- The Salary Range for this position is $255,573 to $372,297 per year. The role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on performance. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement.
Requirements:
- Must be an MD/DO psychiatrist licensed in Arkansas.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience.
- Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
- Solid computer and basic technology skills.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provides psychiatric care, medication assessments, and crisis response to new and existing outpatient clients.
- Oversees clinical operations at 16 Life Strategies locations throughout Arkansas.
- Directly supervises APRNs to help them provide exceptional patient care.
- Develops individual evaluations based upon assessment data and provides therapeutic interventions as necessary, including ongoing medication management services.
- Review, evaluate, and collaborate with other professionals to discuss treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.
- Provides consultation and health education to agency staff and clients regarding the treatment and medication needs of agency clients.
- Responsive to psychiatric emergencies for appropriate intervention and evaluations.
