Description
This is a senior-level position to support multiple project teams in defining and developing the business processes, policies, roles and responsibilities, and performance metrics associated with enterprise technology projects. The Senior Analyst will support the teams in developing systems, processes and procedures that comply with department policy and performance requirements. The Senior Analyst may coordinate with business and technology teams to identify system requirements such as program functions, output requirements, and system techniques and controls. Works with the project teams to provide process analysis and ensure process compliance with department policy and guidelines. Develops project documentation such as project plans and system requirements specifications.
The position will have a hybrid telework arrangement with on-site presence one day a week in Washington, DC. May occasionally report onsite in Springfield, VA. The work schedule will be Monday through Friday during normal business hours. The work location and schedule are subject to change based on government requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Work collaboratively with project teams to identify, document, and track requirements through the system development process.
- Works with the project teams to identify process improvements, future state design, change management, and transition planning.
- Conducts business process analysis, identifies roles and responsibilities, and recommends performance metrics.
- Draft technical documentation to include but not limited to project plans, system requirements specifications, and transition plans.
- Develop recurring status and work progress reports.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor degree and 9 years or more of related experience; Master's and 7 years; may accept additional experience in lieu of degree.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capable of understanding and conveying technical jargon into common prose.
- Capable of working well within a collaborative environment as an integral member of a project team.
- Demonstrated past performance in identifying and delivering objectively identifiable process improvements to a large commercial or government organization.
Required Clearance:
- Active Secret security clearance with Top Secret eligibility.
Desired Education/Skills:
- Prior work experience supporting U.S. government agencies.
- ITIL Certification.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
