Description:
The Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for the clinical practice of nursing, which includes directing all services provided by the Nursing Services Department. As a member of senior management, the Chief Nursing Officer will oversee the following responsibilities:
- Direct the provision of 24-hour nursing services for the facility.
- Review the progress, quality, and effectiveness of all nursing programs.
- Establish methods for evaluating nursing care practices and formulate plans for new programs and changes to existing programs.
- Consult with the CEO on the development of long and short-term facility projects, goals, and objectives of Nursing Services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing; Master's Degree in psychiatric nursing or related field required.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in nursing administration and/or dedicated leadership experience in psychiatric nursing.
- Additional Skill Requirements: A thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission, Medicare, OSHA regulations, and all other state and federal regulatory standards.
- Successful completion of CPR certification and CPI training to within 30 days of employment prior to assisting with restraining procedures.

Pay: $160,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
