Job Description Summary
As the Regional Clinical Leader (RCL), you have overall responsibility for accelerating the growth of GE Healthcare’s imaging agent, Cerianna. Preferred location for this role is Chicago IL but open to candidates in the Minneapolis area as well.
In this commercial role, you will sell, provide clinical and technical support, and deliver in-service education presentations to customers in large and small group settings. You will have a quarterly quota to attain. You will prepare and deliver business reviews. Cross-functionally, you will work closely with sales, marketing, and other internal stakeholders. You will stay on-label in all discussions, education, and training, both internal and external customers.
You must live near a major airport.
Our Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business is the number one global supplier of contrast media and molecular imaging agents used to enhance medical imaging exams. This role is for the Oncology division and will work directly with the commercial team for additional expertise on breast cancer and clinical adoption of Cerianna.
Oncology is a priority care area for us where we see significant growth potential for the use of Molecular Imaging to enable precision oncology. We have a foundation of established proprietary products and now plan to build on this significantly with the launch of Cerianna and a growing innovative pipeline of products that will enable better diagnostic decisions and clinical outcomes in oncology.
This new role will be critical to ensuring the successful implementation of our strategy.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Strategically work with the Cerianna commercial team to identify key accounts for development.
Collaborate closely with the sales specialist to grow business in assigned accounts.
Plan, coordinate, and implement on-label clinical education presentations and discussions with HCPs to ensure clinical acceptance of Cerianna.
Follow up of prior educated customers to ensure long term acceptance and continued optimal use of Cerianna.
Identify key areas of growth potential for staff and physicians that increase adoption of Cerianna.
Maintain knowledge of current trends and development in breast cancer to support customers as product capabilities are developed; continuously increase knowledge of new developments to perform as a subject matter expert.
Assist with product training for sales team as well as other internal stakeholders.
Provide key Voice of Customer feedback to commercial leadership and key internal stakeholders to assist in continuous improvement.
Create and present quarterly business plans that demonstrate how to achieve quarterly quotas.
Develop and maintain relationships with Cerianna Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in assigned geography.
Document account activities in Salesforce.com platform.
Represent and assist at local, regional, or national trade shows/meetings, as required.
Maintain all vendor hospital credentialing.
Follow GE Travel and Expense policies and submit expense reports in a timely manner.
Demonstrate GE leadership behaviors in all interactions with internal and external customers.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in scientific or clinical discipline.
1-2 years’ experience in clinical practice/patient management/research in oncology (breast oncology preferred).
Teaching ability: present complex material in comprehensible terms, present a professional image.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and live in posted location.
Able to travel extensively in assigned region, including overnight travel up to 60-70% of the time. Ideally located to major metropolitan airport.
Valid motor vehicle license.
Desired Characteristics
Residency in Chicago IL or Minneapolis MN.
An advanced degree is preferred (PhD, Pharm D, MD, DO, Advanced Nursing Degree, Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, MS, or equivalent).
Demonstrate effective sales and presentation skills in diverse settings from one-on-one to formal large group situations, in-person and virtually.
Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced MS Office skills to develop effective reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
