Job Description:
- Design and develop a high-performing app with seamless integration between various systems, devices, and servers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify user needs and translate them into effective, scalable features that enhance app performance and engagement.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize the app’s performance to ensure a superior user experience.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for any app-related issues.
- Document code and processes for future development and support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Proven experience in developing and deploying mobile applications, preferably for municipalities and utilities.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience developing mobile apps for iOS, Android, and cross-platform mobile app development preferably for municipalities and utility customers.
- Extensive understanding of mobile app development including data management and connectivity protocols.
- Extensive experience with backend development, RESTful APIs, and server-side technologies.
- Familiarity with building user-friendly UI/UX and working with design teams.
- Ability to work independently and proactively solve complex technical problems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Intermediate – expert level in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams.
- Preferences:
- Public utility and government sector experience.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
