Responsibilities
- Provides consulting services to members of management, the professional staff, and the customer in the analysis and design of programming systems, problem-oriented languages, management systems, scientific systems, and related areas of computational projects.
- Develops the planning and monitoring of the design, implementation, and checkout of programming systems, and provides technical direction in solving complex problems.
- Performs technical tasks that frequently involve customer relations.
- Develops principles and procedures for accomplishing customer-programming studies, analyzing the objectives sought and the methods to be used.
- Develops analytical and computational techniques for solving problems.
- Develops the formulation and design of a project.
- Provides technical direction, guidance, and assistance to assigned projects.
- Gives advice regarding the programming and analytical phases of development and research problems.
- Develops mathematical models when required, conducting original research into modeling techniques when necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering or equivalent related experience.
This is a Senior Level Position. It is required that the IT Development, Release, and Change Enablement Services Manager have the following certification: a. Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification. b. ITIL Foundation or Practitioner v.4 certifications and the DevSecOps FoundationSM certification from the DevOps Institute.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 15-20 years' experience of progressively greater authority and responsibility in IT services management positions, with at least five (5) years' experience in either CI/CD pipeline or DevOps/DevSecOps.
- Demonstrated success implementing and managing CI/CD pipeline and DevSecOps toolsets in a broad and complex IT environment of similar size and scope.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant information technology discipline or in a relevant management discipline.
- Demonstrated ability for quality oral and written communication relevant to CI/CD and DevSecOps in a broad and complex IT environment of similar size and scope.

This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:
- Sitting for long periods.
- Standing for long periods.
- Ambulate throughout an office.
- Ambulate between several buildings.
