Opportunity (Part-Time): Resource Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Building Partner Nation Capacity
Bottom Line Up Front: Hoplite Group is seeking a Resource Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a series of workshops and engagements focused on strategic planning, resource management, and deployment readiness in support of a Department of Defense contract building institutional capacity in a Partner Nation.
Location: Remote support (CONUS) and forward engagements (OCONUS)
Level of Effort:
- 30 hours for non-travel months
- 80-100 hours/month for travel months
- Initial overseas engagement scheduled for October 2024.
Availability: Immediate
Objective: To provide advice and assistance on logistics and resource management, focused on deployment scenarios. This involves conducting detailed assessments of existing policies and procedures to identify areas for improvement. The goal is to exercise current plans, identify shortfalls, and shape policy and plans through in-person workshops and virtual sessions.
Specific Activities and Objectives:
- Deliver concept papers outlining strategic recommendations and plans.
- Conduct both virtual and in-person workshops to develop a comprehensive engagement plan.
- Focus on strategic planning, resource management, planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE), and life-cycle costing concepts.
- Facilitate the development of policies and plans to align with strategic priorities.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Expertise in strategic planning, resource management, and planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE).
- Expertise in life-cycle costing concepts.
- Expertise in assessing and identifying the ability to maintain, sustain, and employ defense systems.
- Department of Defense current / active Secret Clearance is a must.
