Media Engineering is an innovative organization that is focused on providing the best possible video playback experience, art, and metadata to customers around the world, powered by exceptional technology. This strategic work requires streamlining and re-purposing technology across different business and distribution channels – including streaming, linear, and theatrical – so that technology can ebb and flow across the needs of the business.
The Content Library team is the source of truth for descriptive metadata that power user experiences across Disney+ and Hulu. We develop and maintain a web service that integrates metadata from various sources and consolidates multiple partner deliveries into a unified dataset. Through the application of advanced business logic, we build a comprehensive representation of the data that is consistently accessible to our downstream partners!
