Job Description:
As a Consultant supporting our Federal government client, you will work as part of an innovative team to research, prepare, and deliver high-quality solutions. You will be trusted to complete tasks independently, begin leading others in completing tasks, and contribute to the overall team effort to solve challenging problems for the benefit of our customers.
The successful candidate will have the ability to:
- Assist in creating change management strategies that are actionable and based on situational awareness.
- Optimize processes and systems relevant for implementing and managing change.
- Identify potential risks and resistance to change.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to evaluate readiness and impact, while assessing the scope, risks, and opportunities of change initiatives.
- Communicate the vision and benefits of change, and provide support and guidance throughout the process.
- Assist in achieving project goals and evaluate the effects of industry trends, policy changes, and best practices.
- Create plans for communication and training that are consumable by specific audiences.
- Apply core principles, practices, and procedures of change management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, communications, psychology, or related discipline.
- 4+ years of relevant, professional experience.
- Proven experience in change management, project management, or a similar role.
- Curious and open-minded approach to work.
- Thrive in a continuous Build-Measure-Learn cycle.
- Engage with technology—with comfort and ease (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Monday, Slack, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience consulting or working for the Federal government.
Job Location and Travel Expectations:
- This position is remote. Some travel (<25%) is anticipated.
- Some meetings will be conducted on-site with customers in Washington, D.C.
