The SAP Project Manager performs an integral role within our Corporate Controlling organization transforming our financial reporting, planning and analysis (Controlling) process landscape and systems and be a key success factor on our "Growing Green" journey. You will drive projects while cross functionally working with various business leadership, key stakeholders and FP&A teams across all business units.

Your activities:
- Project management for integration projects in SAP FICO.
- Project management for various projects driving the finance process optimization in SAP/S4 for our FP&A teams.
- Partnering with our FP&A teams and defining, building and further developing financial planning and analysis processes and systems that meet all relevant reporting requirements, e.g. forecasts, mid-term planning, etc.
- Develop and enforce FP&A governance standards and processes.
- Collaboration with internal contacts within Renewables and the entire RWE Group (legal, tax, accounting, finance, risk management, operational teams) and across different countries.
- Written and verbal communication of concepts, progress reports, risks and improvement actions.
- Preparation of decisions and follow-up of efficient decision making.
Your profile:
- Extensive professional experience of at least 5 years in the area of controlling / investment management / finance, with knowledge of controlling as well as financial management concepts.
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in either economics, finance, business administration or business informatics.
- Good knowledge with SAP (FI/CO/BI) and MS Office is a must.
- Excellent knowledge of business modeling, information management systems, reporting processes, and data management.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills to interpret data and information and present it in a clear and logical format.
- Team player with a high level of reliability, integrity, and collaboration as well as a high degree of self-organization, personal commitment, and flexibility.
- Fluent in English is required while additional languages are a plus.
- Demonstrated past professional experience working in a matrixed organization in which teams are spread across different countries and cultures.
- Entrepreneurial and proactive approach to challenges.
- Initial experience with business intelligence software is highly desired.
- Experience in consulting is a plus.
