Join our wireless Telecommunications project team in Canning Vale as a Project Engineer. Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, you will work with various teams to drive the delivery of the N2P program of work with a focus on On Time Delivery, safety, quality, issue resolution, and efficiency.
Your ability to build excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders and working with our subcontractors and clients to ensure delivery compliance will be a key component in your success in this role. You will be responsible for providing support on reporting activities and support/coaching to the site Engineers to coordinate the 1 to 3 month project outlook.
Key duties, but not limited to:
- Engage all Contract Trades through the weekly programme and convey to relevant Field Supervisor/Area Supervisor to ensure prompt start dates when work is made available.
- Analysing and tracking performance of contractors to ensure objectives are met.
- Preparing program status reports and contractor schedules with daily status updates to the project manager, area supervisor, and project leads.
- Facilitating delivery of projects within contractual KPIs and prompt resolution of design and construction-related issues.
We are specifically targeting candidates with:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or similar.
- Good understanding of telecommunications pit and pipe and aerial optic fibre network infrastructure.
- Previous experience in the telecommunications construction industry as a project engineer/project coordinator.
- Highly proficient in the usage of MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Ability to use SAP is highly regarded.
- Ability to comfortably operate in a time-critical project environment and have an analytical approach to problem-solving.
