Key/Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Create the monthly schedule for LPNs
- Provide oversight to LPNs and CNAs
- Train staff on colostomy, enteral feeding tubes, wound care, catheterization, turning and positioning, and utilization of the Hoyer lift system as per OPWDD guidelines
- Medication management and medical oversight
- Oversee training of direct care staff
- Document medical appointments and medical issues
- Inform care managers and parents of any medical changes
- Provide on-call support (telephone only) on a rotational basis
Minimum Qualification Requirements including education, experience, licensure/certification, etc. and essential physical capabilities (e.g. lifting, assisting lifting, standing, etc.)
All job titles must meet the following minimum requirements:
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License
Preferred Qualification Requirements (desired requirements beyond MQRs above)
- Med/Surg experience
- Experience with intellectually and developmentally disabled population
Compensation: $85,000.00-95,000.00; based upon education and experience
Schedule: M-F 9a-5p
