Summary:
This role is responsible for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Innovation Operating Model (IOM). Act as owner of the product development process, and is responsible for portfolio data integrity, metrics and reporting. Responsible for the development and reporting of KPIs for the R&D function’s balanced scorecard. This role will also coordinate the development of the strategic plan and technology roadmaps resulting from the annual strategy plan (STRATPLAN) process.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinates, communicates and gathers feedback on performance of IOM processes and potential areas for process improvement.
- Accountable for IOM process and portfolio data integrity in the system of record, provides required project and portfolio metrics, reports on the health of the process, coordinates process audits, and prepares for corporate portfolio reviews or report outs.
- Accountable for training content and delivery around IOM processes.
- Develops, measures and reports KPI’s for overall R&D function.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, business or related field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
- 12+ years of experience in product development process, strategic marketing and/or project management.
- Experience in business to business (B2B) specialty materials businesses.
- Experience leading cross-functional business teams.
