We are seeking a dynamic Associate Director, Sales Training to add to our growing team. As the Associate Director, Sales Training, you will be responsible for directing the design, development, implementation, measurement, and maintenance of AOTI’s sales training programs.

Compensation: $170,000 - 190,000 plus bonus!

General Accountabilities
- Strategy: Develop and implement a multi-tiered sales training strategy for field sales teams, including follow-up and reinforcement to increase sales performance.
- Program Design/Facilitation: Using a variety of modalities (ILT, VILT, eLearning), develop and deliver effective sales training reinforcement and certification programs that align with corporate product and marketing strategies.
- Onboarding: Schedule onboarding, ensuring all necessary resources and training are provided to new hires in a timely fashion. Coordinate training classes with new hires and facilitators, providing feedback and coaching early to ensure new hires are on the right track and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Field Support: Work in the field with new hires and field trainers to assess competency and additional training needs, including a “train the trainer” program. Serve as a key liaison between sales and marketing to ensure the field has the tools and resources they need to be successful.
- Development: Collaborate with the Area VP of Sales and President to choose and implement a sales process system (e.g., SPIN, Miller Heiman). Work with the Chief Medical Officer and clinical team to develop entry-level and mid-career training on clinical evidence and product knowledge within the wound care industry.
- Evaluation: Identify and build the KPIs and reporting needed to continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, identify gaps, and recommend solutions.
- Relationship Management: Engage key stakeholders and cross-functional leaders to gather appropriate product release and launch details to ensure readiness for training.
- National Sales Meeting: Lead or assist with the content development and execution (live or virtual) of our annual National Sales Meeting event.
- DME Accreditation: Work with the compliance officer to gather and maintain all accreditation records for all employees and maintain training programs required by the accreditation agency to support AOTI’s responsibility as an accredited DME.
- Other Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in developing and delivering sales training for field-based staff, including the development, education, and evaluation of an applicable sales model.
- Skills: Strong meeting management and group facilitation skills, with the ability to structure small and large meetings to achieve pre-defined objectives. Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate360, Learning Management Systems, Netsuite, and Salesforce is a plus.
- Travel: Ability to travel for training, field service rides, and sales meetings up to 50% of the time.
- Communication: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Creativity: Ability to think creatively and initiate new ideas or solutions to business issues.
- Pressure Management: Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
- Industry Experience: Experience in wound care, medical sales, and/or start-up/early-stage environments is a plus.
