The Department of Internal Medicine, Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine in Mobile, Alabama is seeking full-time board eligible/board certified internists to join the academic hospitalist team as nocturnist at the Assistant/Associate level. Responsibilities include the supervision of residents and management of non-housestaff and support clinical services including cross coverage. Additionally, nocturnists play a pivotal role in triaging patient transfer request calls from other facilities and liaising with Emergency Department staff. The nocturnist will be a fully engaged member of the division and participate in leadership and/or educational endeavors to advance care at USA Health.
