Solution/Integration Architect (B2B/EAI/HIPAA/Datapower)

Tasks:
- The selected candidate will be involved in the architecture approach, architecture design, tool/technology evaluation, proof of concept, prototype, and technical assessments, as well as working with application teams on detailed technical design.
- This individual will primarily work on HIPAA Gateway replacement initiatives, playing a solution architect role to perform full life-cycle activities in support of multiple projects identified by the chief architect.
- Lead solution and integration architecture concept discussions supporting B2B/EDI/HIPAA Gateway.
- Work on the architecture approach, architecture design, and prototypes for the project.
- Conduct technology/tool evaluations, proof of concept, and prototypes to support architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with SMEs from applications area on technical analysis to support architecture and technical design.
- Work with project and development managers to define the scope and develop plans for architecture and other technical deliverables related to the project.
Required Skills:
This position requires a BA/BS in computer science or equivalent experience, and more than 10 years of professional software development and integration solution architecture experience, including 3 years of architecture and development experience with B2B/EDI integration, HIPAA, and Java/JEE. Specific requirements include:
Must have:
- Proven strong technical architecture design background.
- Deep knowledge and solid understanding of EAI and B2B concepts, various enterprise integration patterns with B2B/EDI integration patterns.
- Architecture design experience in implementing complex business application integration solutions using IBM DataPower, Web Services, WTX, Spring, and Java/JEE framework.
- Architecture and implementation experience with highly scalable web applications.
- Good exposure to HIPAA transaction sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
