Job DescriptionAs the Director of IT and Digitilization, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our technological capabilities and driving digital transformation initiatives across our U.S. and international operations. Reporting directly to the COO, you will lead a team of IT professionals and collaborate closely with key stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and foster innovation through technology.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Strategy:
Provide strategic leadership in IT and digitilization efforts, aligning technology initiatives with business goals and objectives.
Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance, security, and operational effectiveness.
Collaborate with executive team members to define technology roadmaps and drive digital transformation initiatives. - IT Operations Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring smooth delivery of IT services and support to all departments and international offices.
Manage and optimize Windows-based networks and infrastructure to support business operations effectively.
Supervise and mentor IT staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. - Digital Transformation and Innovation:
Lead efforts in digitization and automation projects, leveraging Microsoft technologies to enhance business processes and efficiency.
Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and trends, recommending adoption where appropriate to maintain competitive advantage. - Change Management and Collaboration:
Champion change management initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Plant Automation, Information Security, and Digital Business Solutions to integrate new technologies and systems effectively. - Budget and Resource Management:
Manage IT budget, resource allocation, and procurement to ensure cost-effective investments in technology infrastructure and solutions.
Negotiate contracts and vendor relationships to support IT operations and project implementations.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field required.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in a technical environment with hands-on experience in developing or managing spreadsheet and database applications.
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a diverse team.
- Proven experience in change management and driving organizational transformation through technology.
- Expertise in managing Windows-based networks and infrastructure.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP).
- Experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
