Who You Are:
As the Director of Finance for the Physician Practices at Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you will lead the monthly financial process for the physician practices, Alliance Ambulatory Services, and other physician contracts.
What You’ll Do:
Under the general direction and supervision of the Executive Director, Finance, and within established policies and procedures and GAAP, you will take a hands-on leadership role in:
- Ensuring accurate record of wRVU data.
- Serving as a liaison for financial reviews of operating results with Physician Practice departments.
- Overseeing preparation for all physician annual budgets including but not limited to: New England Heart and Vascular Institute, Primary Care, Surgical Care, Gastroenterology, Urgent Care, Hospitalist, and independent physician contracts.
- Negotiating, preparing, and approving the Hospitalist and other affiliate provider contracts and annual operating budgets, ensuring monthly invoices are consistent with contract terms and approved budgets.
- Working with the VP/CFO, CMO, and VP of Physician Practices evaluating existing practices and developing compensation projections for new practices. Developing pro formas for new practices or acquisitions.
- Overseeing compensation calculations for physicians on productivity-based plans. Reviewing productivity reports for physicians on a monthly and quarterly basis. Assisting in the development of any new physician compensation plans in accordance with CMC’s Employed Physician Compensation Philosophy.
- Assisting in creating and maintaining organized Fair Market Value (FMV) documentation for all contracted providers in conjunction with the execution of all new employment contracts and contract renewals.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 5+ years of Finance or Accounting experience within a large, multifaceted organization required.
- 5+ years of leadership experience required. Healthcare leadership strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with financial reporting software, specifically EPSI, is desirable.
