Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Medical Officer to join our healthcare organization. The Chief Medical Officer will be responsible for overseeing all medical operations, providing strategic leadership, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Duties
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance medical services and patient outcomes
- Provide leadership and guidance to medical staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
- Oversee compliance with FDA regulations and industry standards
- Manage budgeting and resource allocation for medical departments
- Lead clinical research initiatives to advance medical knowledge and treatment options
- Collaborate with executive team to drive organizational goals and initiatives
- Ensure quality assurance and risk management protocols are in place
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of biotechnology, anatomy, and healthcare trends
Skills
- Strong background in primary care, critical care, and hospital settings
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management within a healthcare setting
- In-depth knowledge of FDA regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience in clinical research and implementing evidence-based practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team towards common goals
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care excellence
- Familiarity with biotechnology advancements and their applications in healthcare
- Previous experience in hospital administration or medical research is a plus
Requirements
- Board Certified in medical, psychiatry and substance abuse
- Minimum of five to ten years’ experience providing medical/psychiatry/behavioral/SUD direction and supervision of teams
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Licensed in the State of New Mexico to practice
- Board Certified and in good standing
- Requires a Doctor of Medicine
- Must have all credentials to practice in New Mexico
