Job Description:
The VP of Network Performance and Engagement is a key leadership position focused on enhancing the performance of our network of physician partners. This role involves aligning network operations with the organization's goals, aiming to improve healthcare quality, efficiency, and innovation. The ideal candidate will have strong strategic and leadership skills, a deep understanding of healthcare systems, and a commitment to advancing the organization's mission through effective collaboration with physician partners.
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead Network Advisory Board: Take the lead in managing the network advisory board and related engagement activities to co-create programs and processes that drive performance.
- Enhance Provider Engagement: Oversee strategic initiatives to boost provider engagement and reduce variability. This includes managing current activities like active panel management, scorecards, and the annual leadership retreat, as well as developing new initiatives to enhance engagement and performance for both new and established physicians in each market.
- Facilitate Provider Reporting: Direct provider-facing reporting efforts to ensure all providers understand their performance with actionable insights into the drivers that are impacting results.
- Address Provider Variability: Analyze the root causes of provider performance variability and support the creation and implementation of initiatives to improve overall performance.
- Support Market Medical Director Roles: Improve and adapt the tools and processes used by market medical directors to boost business performance.
- Develop and Implement Initiatives: Apply data-driven insights to identify, garner support for, create, implement and oversee new initiatives and manage current programs that monitor and improve the quality, efficiency, patient experience and effectiveness of our physician network.
- Promote Clinical Excellence: Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the physician network.
- Strengthen Relationships: Act as a primary liaison between the organization, physician partners and other leaders, nurturing collaborative and trust-based relationships underpinned by an understanding of their unique situations and opportunities.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards by working with compliance and quality teams.
- Integrate Innovative Practices: Lead the assessment and adoption of new technologies and care models that boost network performance and meet evolving needs.
- Communicate Effectively: Ensure that communications around key goals and initiatives are clearly and transparently articulated and equally understood by physicians, executive leaders, and staff.
- Engagement Activities: Plan and track high-value activities for physicians, such as retreats, meetings, appreciation events, and education sessions.
- Work with Internal Teams: Collaborate with teams like Business Development, Market Implementation, Analytics, and Finance to develop meaningful content for the physician network.

Required Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree.
- Experience: 10-15 years in healthcare leadership, with a strong track record in managing physician networks, clinical operations, or quality initiatives.
- Expertise: Extensive experience with physician partners, performance management, quality improvement, and healthcare innovation.
- Skills: Proven ability in cultivating physician engagement and working with value-based care models, with a passion for their role in the healthcare system.

Pay Range: $220,400.00 - $275,400.00
Salary range shown is a guideline. Individual compensation packages can vary based on factors unique to each candidate, such as skill set, experience, and qualifications.
