Store Manager - The Good Grocer IGA Supermarket - NEW STORE Opening in WA

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Store Manager to lead our brand new state of the art Good Grocer IGA store opening in East Fremantle, WA.

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the successful operation of the store, leading your team to deliver an exceptional fresh food offering to our customers.

We are looking for not just a retailer but a passionate foodie who can lead their team, who embraces change, and can create a market-leading offer for the local East Fremantle community.

Ideally, you will have a demonstrated background of retail management experience and have a comprehensive understanding of both back and front of house operations, as well as exceptional people management skills.

This is a permanent full-time salaried position with an incentive scheme.

Skills required:

Previous Retail Store Manager experience; Supermarket Leadership experience is preferred
Experience leading and developing a team
Financial acumen and experience in managing GP, sales, budgets, and wages
Exceptional customer service experience and merchandising ability
Ability to manage and lead the team, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
Fresh food experience with gourmet product knowledge being advantageous
Excellent communication and organisational skills
IT knowledge/Microsoft/Smart Retail/ABCIS

Key Responsibilities:

Full responsibility for the successful operation of the store
Lead and develop your team
Ensure customers receive an exceptional shopping experience
Full P&L accountability
Ensure adherence to all safety standards and requirements across the store
