The Global Field and Go To Market (GFM) team consists of Digital, Campaigns, Field, Partner, Services and Industry marketing globally at Workday, responsible for building fully integrated marketing plans to generate demand and accelerate pipeline in the markets we serve across the globe.
About the Role
Are you an experienced marketing professional looking for a unique and exciting opportunity to lead a world-class team? Look no further! Workday Inc is seeking a Senior Director to join our Global Field and Go To Market (GTM) Programs Office. In this role, you will have the chance to make a significant impact on our marketing strategies and initiatives, while collaborating with exceptional leaders and teams around the world.
Responsibilities:
- Develop an economic model for functional investments, ensuring program funds are allocated effectively.
- Develop a worldwide Field Marketing and GTM planning strategy, using industry frameworks to achieve our most important goals.
- Collaborate with the central Marketing Operations organization to address measurement and operational needs.
- Lead the budgeting process, ensuring funds are allocated in alignment with our target ratios.
- Build a model that demonstrates how all GFM activities align with our strategic goals and key performance indicators.
- Provide strategic advice to the GFM leadership team, offering insights on business performance and market trends.
- Define our global strategy and resource models, driving growth, pipeline development, and annual contract value (ACV).
- Advise on metrics and analysis for program performance and effectiveness.
- Partner with GFM leads to build a unified global GFM plan, review process, and strategy.
About You
Basic Requirements:
- 15+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on field and go-to-market strategies.
- 8+ years of demonstrated ability to lead marketing teams globally, fostering collaboration and driving results.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Possesses a business/marketing degree or equivalent work experience.
Other Qualifications:
- Demonstrates critical thinking and hands-on execution to drive program success.
- Proven track record of driving marketing programs that generate pipeline growth.
- Proficient in collaborating with individuals at all organizational levels, including executive management, sales, and operations.
- Recognized as an inspiring leader in marketing best-practices, with a passion for communicating and advocating for business priorities.
- Understands how to actively engage and nurture advocacy among C-Level audiences.
Workday Pay Transparency Statement
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
