Handling the responsibilities of financial statements, compliance engagements and year round consulting for nonprofits takes more than just a technical understanding of current accounting practices. As a manager in our Audit and Assurance practice, you will be able to participate in providing individual attention to help make nonprofits successful.

What You Will Be Doing

Working with a dedicated team of mission oriented professionals
Providing a high level of service to nonprofit organizations primarily in the Portland Metropolitan area
Working directly with clients
Helping to manage and direct engagements, staff, and Assurance initiatives

The successful candidate will have experience, ability and interest in

Helping conduct and manage teams for financial audits and reviews of nonprofit organizations as well as audits in accordance with Uniform Grant Guidance
Working with a variety of nonprofit organizations
Working with department and firm leadership to stay abreast of industry changes and continual department improvement

Preferred qualifications

CPA certification
Excellent written and verbal communications
Well-organized and with the ability to work efficiently and prioritize appropriately
The ability to collaboratively work with others as part of a high-performing team
Minimum of six years of work experience in CPA firm
The ability to work in a fast paced professional services environment
