As the Senior Family Engagement Designer at Bezos Academy, you will ensure school teams have the skills they need to engage families successfully across our growing national network of tuition-free, Montessori-inspired preschools in under-resourced communities. In this role, you have two audiences of learners: school staff across our national network and the families of children enrolled in our schools.
For our school staff and leaders, you will use data and observations to create the scope and sequence for learning, develop the learning experiences and content for adult learners, and facilitate strong synchronous and asynchronous trainings at all junctures of the employee life cycle.
For Bezos Academy families, you will develop and design family education experiences, modules, tools, and videos that help families better understand Bezos Academy’s Montessori-inspired approach, the organization’s student support offerings and processes, and the resources and partnerships available to them. You will design family-facing materials in multiple formats, making them accessible to those with varying technology access, learning styles, literacy levels, language access, and proficiency.
You will collect data and contribute to insight reports for district leaders about the learning needs for the team members in the schools they manage. You will promote engagement best practices, which center equity, inclusion, and accessibility for all families and children. Your insights help guide the coaching and development of heads of schools and ensure fidelity of practice at each school.
