Job Summary
Sentara Medical Group has a Hematology/Oncology opening in the beautiful city of South Boston, VA. Join Sentara's established practice working full time with No Call. Our collegial and innovative team treats a diverse population in our well supported clinic that includes an infusion center, nurse navigator, and soon to be palliative care team on site.
Position Highlights:
- Join 2 well established MD's and 2 APPs.
- Office hours, M-F, 8am to 5pm
- Average of 20 patient visits per day
- No Call
- 10-bed infusion Center at hospital/Practice on the hospital campus
- Nurse navigator on site
- Palliative Care program opening Spring 2024

- MLD - Master's Level Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Required)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
- Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - North Carolina
- Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - Other/National
- Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Certification - Other/National
