Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
AnthroMed is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming school year. AnthroMed Education is an organization dedicated to partnering with Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support students in school districts. About the role:
Collaborate with key stakeholders regarding your students’ communication and development in all domains addressed by SLPs.
Implement AAC and conduct interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure AAC implementation across services.
Provide therapy using a variety of service delivery models including classroom push-in.
Determine eligibility of students for speech therapy services and clearly identify necessary classroom accommodations.
Provide appropriate speech and language intervention for eligible students.
Participate in team meetings for the development of students’ individualized education programs.
Complete relevant paperwork within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- School-based and/or pediatric experience.
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid DC SLP license from the District of Columbia’s Department of Health.
