Title: Lead Software Engineer

The primary objective of this role is to manage and develop the product feature roadmap as it relates to the backend system and APIs for a quickly growing early-stage startup.
The hire will be required to make key decisions on system architecture and lead integrations with third-party systems. This role will be fundamental in helping choose future developer hires and crafting the processes and requirements for our technology team as the business scales.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years full stack web development experience (LAMP)
- 3+ years of API development experience
- Advanced MySQL skills - querying, optimization, indexing, complex joins
- Formal education in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 1+ year experience working with at least one community-driven framework
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflow
- Fluent in other programming languages
