The TU M&A Architecture team provides the leadership and oversight for the pre-diligence, due diligence, and integration and closing technical and information security activities of New Business Development efforts, M&As, and Investments. If you like rolling up your sleeves, working with new technologies, new players, and delivering M&A outcomes in a fast-paced environment, this might be the role for you.
What You'll Bring:
- Technical Breadth:
You will have the ability to understand and assess the architecture of the investing/acquiring organization and articulate how the architecture can be aligned with the organization's technical architecture.
You will be able to explore options for Cloud/Data center and Back office integration compliant with industry and defined best practices. Where required, you will be able to identify options to improve the internal architecture patterns by working with various architects in the organization.
You will have a good understanding of Information Security integration approaches of infrastructure, data, and application layers of the architecture and will be able to articulate the security architecture of the investing/acquiring organization architecture to various information security stakeholders.
You will be able to articulate how the application will integrate with target application architecture. - Leadership & Collaboration:
You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
You will have the ability to work with the Global Business Development team in addressing the overall M&A needs and timely delivery of required artifacts.
You will be a hands-on leader that removes impediments and helps teams solve complex technology and organizational challenges in a matrixed organization.
You will be able to build strong partnerships with delivery teams and develop strong partnerships across the US and global delivery teams.
You will be a true collaborator that partners with various senior leadership across various stakeholders in technology, information security, and business areas to drive diligence and integration efforts. - Financial Acumen:
You will be able to synthesize the findings of diligence efforts and create a costing model for the acquisition with clear articulation of one-time and recurring capital and operational expenses for 5 years.
You will be comfortable presenting and defending costing to various technology and business stakeholders.
You will be able to work with program managers and financial analysts to review and revise ongoing financial forecasts and articulate any monthly/quarterly variance to leadership stakeholders. - Executive Communication:
You will be comfortable presenting integration updates, financial variance, and due diligence architecture, information security, and costing details to various executive stakeholders.
Ability to demystify complex concepts to both junior team members and senior leaders (EVP, SVP, VP, etc.). - Execution:
You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, deliver results by collaborating with team members, and adjust priorities as required.
You will be able to work with program managers to help facilitate program execution, remove any impediments, and escalate to senior leadership as required.
Impact You'll Make:
- Be an instrumental part of the Architecture function & lead the modernization of TransUnion's architecture through the use of public cloud platforms, DevSecOps operating models, & new enabling technologies.
- Deliver business value through the benefits of moving applications and platforms to a scalable, modern architecture that leverages public cloud.
- Enable market & solution areas through proactive dialogue on capability needs & mapping those needs to existing or new architectural patterns & standards.
- Occasional travel will be required - less than 10%.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
