Role Description
As one of our first engineering hires, you'll have the unique opportunity to:
- Shape our engineering direction and workload
- Work on groundbreaking projects involving AI, LLMs, and more (see examples below)
- Collaborate closely with our external partners to fuel our growth
- Contribute to product decisions, direction and prioritization
Sample set of projects (completed & in the pipeline):
- Developing an LLM-driven self-auditing system to increase confidence in LLM transformations and speed to review
- Build an AI-native Excel sheet for quantitative synthesis, empowering users to systematically pull out structured data points across series of calls
- Build a dynamic research summarisation engine to provide up-to-date key insights across primary and secondary research
- Fine-tuning LLMs to drive task-specific improvements
About You
- We're looking for product-minded full-stack engineers who:
- Are based in NYC — huge bias for IRL work
- Have experience leading projects end-to-end and taking ideas from conception to execution independently
- Are opinionated about their work and eager to contribute to product decisions
- Have strong communication skills and a desire for a client-facing role — as a small team, we expect that everyone will be working closely with our external partners
- Are proficient in our tech stack: Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL
- Bonus points for experience building & designing AI-powered products!
