The SWAT/TMS function within Maersk Ground Freight (MGF), North America (NAM) is a vital support function ensuring seamless onboarding of new business, support of steady-state operations and demanding innovative thought leadership.
The head of this organization will be directly responsible for the management of the SWAT vertical within our Ground Freight operation, along with TMS implementations. Aside from the day-to-day execution of the business, the person in this role will simultaneously focus on the professional development of their team members.
This role requires a high degree of peer collaboration across technical functions and operations in order to ensure rapid and effective delivery of implementations and customer onboardings. Because of this, a “teamwork” mindset and the ability to maintain focus on the strategic objectives of the implementation are essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with continuous improvement, technical, and operations teams, to identify areas of opportunity and improvement.
- Lead the SWAT & TMS teams for MGF NAM.
- Oversee the development of the strategy, direction and goals for the SWAT & TMS teams.
- Influence the onboarding process of new customers and find ways to ensure a positive experience.
- Support the innovation team by identifying opportunities, participating in proofs of concept and evaluating efficacy.
- Introduce new products or services for internal and external customers.

PAY RANGE
$200-$220k*
- The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
