Job Description:
This role focuses on defining and constructing platforms that are crucial for healthcare data exchange, integration, interfacing, and aggregation. These platforms are mission critical to healthcare providers, payers and the vendors that serve them in delivering better healthcare to patients. You will drive the ideation, elaboration and realization of products and solutions. You will also have management responsibilities, directing the activities of others to ensure delivery of the vision. This role is a significant leadership position in our expanding product management team. You will shape the future of interoperability within the market leader in data management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Engage is setting the vision to stay ahead of industry, ensure competitive advantage, always thinking about customers and interoperability
- Champion the vision for innovative solutions and the investments required to realize that vision.
- Lead the strategy and development of the interoperability platform roadmap, ensuring alignment across the suite of solutions.
- Lead CommonWell core platform and data exchange technology roadmaps
- Actively participate in committees such as TEFCA and CommonWell
- Guide platform and product portfolio plans, key initiatives
- Collaborate with other teams, stakeholders, data and KPIs to inform product decisions
- Outline epics and high-level data models that drive consistent development across platforms.
- Ensure operational and sales readiness plans for go to market strategies and launch of the product.
- Direct and assist others to research and break down requirements and enable product development and quality assurance.
- Help develop product documentation and training materials.
- Act as a product evangelist, directly engaging with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights that inform strategy.
- Manage and develop direct reports.
- Ensure high work quality, professional development, consistency in approach and deliverables
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of healthcare IT (HIT) market, use cases and structures.
- Understanding of HIT exchange frameworks, networks, HIE, and components.
- Experience with EMPI and RLS
- Experience creating products for health information exchange.
- Experience with designing product strategy and proposals to support ideas.
- Experience writing requirements and directing the creation of product and related documentation.
- People management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to quickly assimilate large amounts of complex technical information and turn it into problem-solving and opportunity creation
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, delegating as needed.
- Exhibit a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency
- Experience with software development methodology and tools
