Dentologie dental group (Chicago, IL) is seeking an awesome General Dentist(s), both experienced and new, to join us in a full-time role! We have current opportunities in our: West Loop, River North, and Clark & Diversey practice(s) with a start date as early as September!
As a member of our dentist team, you can expect:

We are growing quickly as a group here in Chicago (currently 12 office locations, all PPO) with an active patient base of 40,000 patients and seeing over 1,500 new patients per month!
Responsibilities:- Provide consultation with patients and discuss and treat dental concerns, perform regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a comprehensive treatment plan for better dental hygiene and positive restorative outcomes.
- Perform dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities.
- Correct bite issues and overcrowding.
- Apply preventative measures for teeth, such as sealants or whiteners.
- Prescribe medications for dental problems, such as pain medications or antibiotics.
- Order diagnostic measures, such as x-rays, models, etc.
- Utilize tools such as drills, probes, brushes, or mirrors, to examine and treat teeth.
- Keep accurate records relating to the patient's oral health and the tx rendered to them.
- Manage positively and openly communicate with other staff members to provide outstanding care to patients.
- Diagnose, tx plan, and diagnose oral disease and oral manifestation of systemic diseases.
- Routinely follow-up with patients whom you’ve provided treatment via phone or email.
- Manage patient experiences, patient expectations, circumvent negative experiences and create positive outcomes for those experiences.
Qualifications:- Active Illinois state dental license (and malpractice insurance).
- Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and healthcare.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records.
- Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools and thorough tx planning skills.
- Strong inter-personal and leadership qualities.
- Ability to manage dental complications for any procedure performed on a patient.
- Implant placement/advanced certification if placing implants or performing specialty work.
- Ability to adapt to Dentologie’s learning environment and be willing to accept constructive feedback and guidance - eager to further enhance your skillset.
