My client specializes in designing and manufacturing Point-of-Sale Displays to help brands and retailers sell more products. The company operates in various industries, including consumer electronics, warehouses, cosmetics, home centers, wearables, and sporting goods. It is growing at a steady rate, with over 85 employees and 7 people on the sales team.
In order to meet the company's 5-year growth plan, the business is looking to hire an additional Account Executive. This person will be responsible for building a book of business valued at a minimum of $2M within the first 2 years. They will primarily sell in the United States, but they can also sell in Canada. Brands are the primary target, but within that, this person can also sell to any sub-vertical. The size of target customers will range from enterprise to medium.
Our target candidate is someone who has experience in the retail display and design industry. They must be a hunter. They can live anywhere in Canada or the United States.
About The Role
- Pursue opportunities throughout the entire sales process through cold calling, email campaigns, social media, industry events, presentation decks and meetings.
- Develop strong relations with prospects and clients, key decision-makers, and influential people in order to address their specific needs and educate prospects on the unique value proposition of Content Solutions products/services.
- Prepare and present solutions to current and potential client's value-added business proposals with the goal of establishing a lasting partnership.
- Develop and maintain prospective clients’ pipelines, forecast revenues and provide regular activity reports to Senior Management and Advisor council.
- Build customer-specific business plans on an annual basis.
- Develop strong relationships with internal SMEs to know when to bring them into the sales cycle.
- Assist with improving and developing marketing and sales collateral in collaboration with the leadership team.
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, delegate tasks to assist in the achievement of strategic goals and eventual transfer of the day-to-day account management to account coordinators/project managers.
- Manage accounts to client satisfaction.
- Generate reports on key sales metrics for the management team.
