Neurologist - Telemedicine
Our Client: Our Client is seeking a full time neurologist to join their growing team focused on the diagnosis and treatment of mTBI. They combine teleneurology with state of the art diagnostics like VNG, oculomotor tracking, EEG with ERPs, computerized balance testing, autonomic testing, quantitative pupillometry, and olfactory testing to provide an unmatched quality of care to their injured patients.
Their TBI therapy program includes more traditional interventions like vestibular rehab, balance training, oculomotor rehab and cognitive therapy combined with advanced technology like vagus nerve stimulation, Alpha stim, infrared photobiomodulation, autonomic biofeedback, Cefaly, virtual reality assisted rehab, and audiovisual stimulation.
Requirements:
- Possess active FL medical license
- Be comfortable with occasional travel to Tampa bay area and Orlando for in person patient care, however the bulk of responsibilities can be performed remotely
- Have Board certification in neurology, board certification in brain injury medicine is a plus but not required
- Be comfortable with medlegal work and depositions, we provide extensive training in this area so prior experience not required
- Have interest in the diagnosis and treatment of mTBI and associated symptoms
- Work well in a collaborative environment with APRNs, PTs, and chiropractors
