What this position entails
IntelliScript's Information Technology has been a key part of our success and is critical to our future. In this position, you will have responsibility for shaping the ongoing development and enhancement of IntelliScript's industry-leading software. You will work closely with the development team on technological research and architecture decisions. The Software Architect role is expected to analyze and provide recommendations to improve existing system architecture and performance, as well as help define standards and provide guidance on new development.
What you'll be doing
- Software development responsibilities, combined with partnership among business teams
- Develop prototypes to evaluate new technologies and consider architectural approaches
- Assess and improve system architecture and performance
- Participate in design process and code reviews
- Help design standardizations and structure of current and future development projects
- Serve as a technical resource for the development team
What we need
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Passionate about building high-quality systems with AWS and/or Azure best practices
- Experience with domain driven design
- Experience with microservice architecture
- Experience with event-driven architecture
- Strong experience with .NET, C#, SQL, API and service development
- Strong experience with React, HTML, CSS and related web UI frameworks
- Understanding of Agile practices (e.g. Scrum)

Location
This position will be based out of the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI; however, this position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI for quarterly PI Planning meetings.
The salary range for this position is $107,000 - $217,000, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition, we offer a significant performance-based bonus plan, profit sharing, and generous benefits.
