Job Summary
TriCore Reference Laboratories seeks a Medical Director of Clinical Immunology and Preanalytics.
The successful candidate will have experience in automated clinical laboratory testing, clinical assay development and validation, quality control and quality assurance, interpretation of laboratory test results, and consultation with physicians and other health care providers. Participation in the TriCore Research Institute and contributions to the educational mission of TriCore are also expected.
Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION:
- MD and/or PhD, or equivalent degree. Formal training in pathology, laboratory medicine, or both; or an applicable clinical medical specialty
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
- Two (2) years progressive experience in a clinical laboratory
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Post-residency/fellowship-training or post-doctoral experience in clinical chemistry and/or clinical immunology
- Board eligibility or certification, and sub-specialty certification, if applicable
PREFERRED:
- Experience interpreting serum protein electrophoresis results
- Experience troubleshooting preanalytical challenges
- Familiarity with clinical device trials
- Proven scholarly achievement, particularly in the setting of clinical research
