Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex intellectual property litigation, with a primary focus on patent disputes.
- Draft, file, and argue motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on patent law and other intellectual property issues to support litigation strategies.
- Develop and implement effective litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and clients.
- Manage all aspects of the discovery process, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, handling document production, and conducting depositions.
- Prepare for and actively participate in trial proceedings, including witness examination and presenting arguments in court.
- Collaborate with technical experts and advisors to develop expert reports and testimony that align with clients’ litigation goals.
- Stay informed of the latest developments in intellectual property law, particularly patent law, to provide up-to-date legal advice to clients.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, keeping them informed of case developments and strategic decisions.
- Juggle multiple litigation matters and projects, ensuring all deadlines are met and high-quality work is delivered.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in intellectual property litigation, with a strong emphasis on patent litigation.
- Experience as a federal judicial law clerk is highly preferred.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Admission to the Delaware Bar or eligibility for admission.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Strong academic credentials.
