Responsibilities
- Develop and implement programs for student outreach, recruitment, and admissions.
- Deliver presentations and represent the School at admissions activities.
- Counsel prospective applicants regarding admission requirements and preparation for MBA study.
- Host weekly office hours to advise prospective students.
- Assess academic preparedness of applicants.
- Evaluate transcripts and international records for eligibility.
- Assess applicants for motivation, initiative, leadership potential, and other factors.
- Provide in-depth information on admissions requirements and career opportunities.
- Evaluate and select students for the Full-Time MBA program.
- Sit on the Admissions Committee and make admissions decisions.
Support Senior Associate Director:
- Evaluate effectiveness of admissions and recruitment programs.
Professional Learning and Growth:
- Engage in training and workshops pertinent to the position.
- Contribute to a team environment that fosters DEIB.
- Engage in ongoing education to promote diversity, equity, inclusion & belonging.
- Exemplify Haas' four Defining Leadership Principles.
Required Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge and experience with a diverse student population.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and communicate University policies.
- Ability to learn and comprehend academic programs.
- Ability to establish cooperative relationships with various organizations.
- Ability to develop recruitment programs.
- Demonstrated analytical skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Available to travel and work evenings/weekends as needed.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of and commitment to DEIB.
- Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Salary & Benefits:
This is a 100% full-time exempt career position, which is paid monthly and eligible for UC Benefits. The budgeted salary range is $74,400.00 - $82,792.00.
