ABOUT THE ROLE
10x Genomics is looking for a Staff Integration Architect to join a highly talented Productivity Engineering team, in a key role improving the existing integration landscape, process efficiency and automations requiring innovation and execution. It will develop new robust integration strategies across our enterprise systems. This 10x enterprise technology business applications role is hands-on and highly cross-functional, working with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, R&D and external partners.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Design, develop, plan and support integration solutions to connect a high number of complex software programs, applications and third-party systems.
- Ensure 10x's tech stack strategy is directionally focused on achieving the best-in-class, and the technology team is kept informed on the newest trends.
- Provide guidance and develop seamless application integration architecture blueprints.
- Proven experience creating scalable, secure and maintainable integration solutions.
- Proactive and increasingly predictive job monitoring to address potential integration issues, expert at troubleshooting complex challenges, and support of existing integrations.
- Provide technical guidance through strong collaboration with the functional architect/leads, and with offshore development team members.
- Ensure projects have quality commit dates, on time completion, ensure scope is clear, and commits reflect human and financial constraints.
- Create and maintain documentation for integration processes and solutions.
- Conduct code and design reviews for work done by other developers.
- Ensure design development of complete end-to-end integration solutions by understanding the functional business requirements.
- Engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously with limited supervision but proven excellent communication and listening to enable concise communications.
- Promote the use of shared applications and reusable components to reduce costs and improve information flows.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
- 15 years experience on building integrations using frameworks like Boomi / Workato / MuleSoft / Oracle OIC.
- 5 years experience building integrations with Boomi.
- Programming skills in SQL, JavaScript, Python or similar programming languages.
- Build integrations with Oracle Cloud, Salesforce and other 3rd party systems.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Workday integrations.
- Development and design of Oracle report building.
- Deep understanding of iPaaS and traditional integration technologies.
- Professional level certifications in middleware platforms.
- Experience defining overall API architecture, integrations and deployment.
- Ability to learn new technologies and integration platforms.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
