University Medical Center New Orleans seeks a dynamic physician leader to optimize patient flow and enhance care delivery as the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Throughput. The ideal candidate will develop and implement strategies to streamline admissions, transfers, and discharges, reducing wait times and length of stay. This role requires a strong clinical background combined with expertise in healthcare operations and process improvement. The Must Haves:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) with a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a medical doctor and a current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Louisiana.
- Master’s in business, Healthcare, or Public Health Administration, preferred.
- LEAN certification, a plus.
