Job Description
University Health Physicians and University Health is currently seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our medical staff in providing psychiatric services in a medical inpatient hospital setting.
This position will work as leader of a multi-disciplinary team that includes psychiatry residents, medical students, and medical social workers. Other duties will include:
- Providing coverage at either of our two adult inpatient psychiatric hospitals.
- Leading a multi-disciplinary team that includes psychiatry residents, medical students, psychologists, nurses, recreational therapists, and medical social workers.
- Participation in hospital-based committees.
- Providing lectures to other medical specialties.
The qualified candidate will have graduated from an accredited medical school and completed a residency in psychiatry (experience in psychosomatic medicine preferred, but not required).
