Director of Patient Services (DPS) - RN
Location: New York, NY (Potential travel to other offices across the region)
Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000 per year

What You’ll Do:
Regulatory Compliance & Quality Improvement
- Lead the charge in regulatory excellence, staying ahead of DOH, DOL, CMS, and other standards.
- Drive innovation in quality and performance improvement programs, shaping the future of clinical care.
- Embed cutting-edge quality protocols into our operations, ensuring we’re always at the forefront of excellence.
Budget Management
- Strategically develop, manage, and optimize agency budgets for personnel, supplies, and equipment in partnership with key leaders and departments.
Staffing & Operations Management
- Craft and implement strategic staffing plans that ensure optimal coverage and productivity, aligning with the needs of our patients.
- Oversee operational performance metrics, driving improvements in satisfaction, cost management, and staff retention.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to set high standards of care and clinical outcomes, while managing instructors for our Aide Training School.
Patient Care & Safety
- Champion a culture of safety, compassion, and excellence in patient care across all units.
- Develop mechanisms to assess and exceed patient and family expectations, turning feedback into actionable improvements.
- Address patient and family concerns with swift, empathetic, and effective resolutions.
Leadership
- Lead with vision and purpose, conducting regular meetings with nursing management to align on goals, performance, and improvement strategies.
- Mentor, educate, and inspire nursing management, fostering a culture of growth, development, and excellence.
- Be a proactive leader, responding to staff needs and driving initiatives that enhance staff satisfaction and retention.
What You Bring:
- A minimum of 2+ years of Home Care Nursing experience with a deep understanding of its complexities and challenges.
- A BSN degree or higher in nursing or a related field, with a strong foundation in healthcare management and leadership.
- A current Registered Nurse license in New York State, meeting all regulatory standards.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably as a DPS, with a track record of successfully leading and inspiring teams.
- Exceptional clinical, assessment, and documentation skills, with an eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Outstanding communication skills that foster collaboration and build strong relationships with teams, patients, and families.
- A strategic mindset with strong organizational skills, capable of juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach with the ability to navigate and resolve challenges with creativity and confidence.
- Proficiency with technology and systems that enhance healthcare delivery and operational efficiency.
