The Performing Arts Installations Lead provides supervision, coordination and support for the installation teams that will result in the efficient use of resources in meeting the customer's requirements for the delivery and installation of Wenger Corporation products.
At a minimum, you'll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent plus five (5) years of experience
- Strong mechanical and carpentry skills
- Organization and strong supervisory skills
- ETCP rigging certification preferred
- OSHA30 certification preferred
- Minimum five (5) years of experience safely installing, troubleshooting and maintaining all aspects of rigging
- Minimum five (5) years of experience reviewing drawings and estimating
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative problem-solving ability
- Computer skills and aptitude, especially Word, Bluebeam and Excel
It'd be great if you also have:
- Preferred experience working with general contractors on construction sites
- Knowledge of performing arts industry
As a Performing Arts Installation Lead, a typical day might include:
- Providing internal and external customers with accurate and cost-effective price quotations for Installation services
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and contracts for installation and providing feedback to the stakeholders
- Developing and managing third party relationships for installation
- Representing Installation function with Wenger customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction while maintaining a cost-effective operation
- Assisting project managers in developing installation project schedules and coordinating with GC and other trades
- Supervising, assessing, and developing Installation personnel to meet current and long-term needs
- Performing administrative duties such as accident reports, employee requisition and hiring, employee training, and other similar duties to enhance employee and business growth
- Contacting outside resources to coordinate and schedule appropriate labor for the installation of Wenger products
- Developing installation means and methods and site-specific programs in accordance with OSHA regulations and product guidelines
- Maintaining various types of department records that will promote a more efficient operation and making recommendations for improvement
- Assisting in resolution of construction problems as required
- Providing direct supervision and work guidance to personnel hired on the job site to ensure high-quality and time-efficient installation of Wenger products while ensuring safety
- Providing clear and concise reports in writing on all site visits with recommendations to resolve customer problems and prevent recurrence on future projects
- Potential travel nationally and internationally
