Job Description:
Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of large commercial construction projects.
- Support the Project Manager in managing project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Oversee the procurement of materials, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project specifications.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and address any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project goals are met.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and meeting minutes.
- Utilize project management software to track project milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with all project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project engineering or construction management, preferably with large commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Autodesk, Microsoft Project).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
